2nd Grade Hospital Project
Over the last few months, the second grade classroom of Aurelie Lebot has worked to create arts bags for children that were patients at Memorial hospital. Each month the class worked on a special art project. Aurelie wanted the students to share their art work for others to enjoy! On January 2, they delivered 24 plus unique bags full of the art drawings, that had been turned into placemats. Each student also created an origami crane, the crane is a symbol of recovery. The bags also contained coloring books, paints and colored pencils & stickers for the patients to create their own art. Classroom representatives, Laetitia Phelps and Alyse Nazroff met with the staff at Memorial Hospital to arrange the project and for delivery. Thank you for all you are doing for our community!
